Feel@home - International Christmas Dinner
Feel@home - International Christmas DinnerAll the nations come together and cook for us this Christmas! We're already dreaming of pastizzi, pasta, paella, wurstel and so many dishes we can never pronounce.... hmm, it already smells so good! :)

Group up in teams of the same country and share some traditional food from your home country....Portside have been kind enough to offer their kitchen to heat your stuff (but there are no facilities to cook), so make sure that whatever you get is already cooked..

So, all you need to do is to inform us which country you're representing - so that we can help you find your team & we can prepare a table for your country ... :)

Let's celebrate an international Christmas this year! Hoping to see you all there...

Feel@Home's International Christmas Dinner will be held on Thursday 15th of December 2011 from 20:00 - 23:30 at Portside in Sliema.

Check out the event on Facebook to RSVP or for more information Here

Jubilee Foods
Jubilee FoodsWhen the first Café Jubilee opened, the menu included traditional foods, all made by hand and following family recipes that were handed from one generation to another. The Nanna’s Cheeslets Ravioli became very popular as people recognised the genuineness of this dish. Since such product was not available in the market, patrons were asking if they could buy the ravioli to cook them home for their families and friends. Prior to the opening of the third Café Jubilee, in 2000 the Scicluna brothers took another key decision, that to launch Jubilee Foods, a food production company. Jubilee Foods embody the ethos where the words ‘genuine’ and ‘home-made’ are still given their real meaning and where they translate into simply superb food that take your culinary experience back to traditional roots using natural and fresh ingredients with no additives. Products include a selection of traditional Maltese and Gozitan dishes whose recipes have been handed down from generation to generation. Jubilee Foods immediately started its first distribution to all Café Jubilee outlets. The demand for the Nanna’s Ravioli increased and distribution nationwide, in supermarkets and restaurants kicked off in 2003. In the meantime, more food products were being developed, certified and produced for the cafés.

Jubilee foods now have three locations throughout Malta:
Ibragg: Triq l-Ibragg, Ibragg, Swieqi - Tel: 2138 4901
Qormi: Pavi Supermarket, Triq Manuel Dimech, Qormi
Tel: 2144 2009
Gozo: Independence Square, Victoria, Gozo - Tel: 2155 8921

Trop Mode Fashion Show
Set in the historic orchard at Razzlett l-Ahmar the Trop Mode Fashion Show was a night of pure indulgence.

Razzlett l-ahmar set the tone of what was a night of glamour and fun thanks to Trop Mode. Local models graced the red carpet catwalk wearing Trop Mode's designer wear.
Smooth jazz helped set the seductive mood for the fashion show. As the models seductively walked down the catwalk the use of a single male model kept the sensual mood alive.

The show highlighted a number of Trop Mode's evening and ready to wear pieces with the highlights being a neutral pleated gown and an edgy leather jacket with padded shoulders.

Trop Mode can be found at 49, High Street, Sliema.
